How 'Bout them Cowboys?

Hello all! Not too much to post about, just wanted to say we took Caeden to his very first Cowboys game! His Papa & Uncle Eric should be so proud. You can't grow up in this family without going to a Cowboys game! He did pretty good though, he got a little fussy cause he couldn't crawl around but I think he was just tired. But overall he did very well!

Hello Hello!! Sorry for the absence! This little guy has kept us busy! He is everywhere and into everything.. So needless to say I don't have as much free time anymore cause I'm always chasing him around. He has been doing really good, he has 2 bottom teeth now which is so so cute and 2 are coming in on the top. I took him to the dr. last week and she said he is just perfect. He is 80% in the percentile of his length and 50% in the percentile of his weight. He absolutely loves his dr. and I do too. She is so great with him! She said he's doing exactly what he should be doing. And what exactly is he doing? Well he is...

• Learning to pull up to a standing position by himself and stand for a few seconds.


• Definately learning the word "no" lol.. he pouts when he hears that word


• Talking alot more now. "Mama, Dada, Baba & sometimes Hi"


• He knows how to dance, rocks back & forth in a sitting position (see the video, it's the cutest thing)


• Clapping


• Gives hugs

Alot of this he has been learning from other kids in our playgroup. That playgroup is a Godsend! I really don't know what I'd do with out it. He was playing with this little girl and he was pulling up on her trying to give her a hug, the cutest thing ever. I just love watching him interact with other kids.

So Caeden is 9 months now.. so we're starting to go through ideas for his birthday party. I'm not ready for him to grow up yet!! If he could just stay the way is he is that would be just great lol.. It's like I'm excited to see him learning other things but yet I feel like I'm going to wake up and he'll be going off to college! Ahh oh well I just have to enjoy each moment I have, which is why I'm so so thankful to Milton for letting me stay at home, because if I was working, I'd be missing out on some important things.

Anyways back to his birthday, I'm glad it's on a Saturday this year. But if any of you have any ideas let me know.. it's kinda hard cause they are still so little. But we're thinking maybe a "Blues Clues" themed party since he absolutely loves that show. He will sit there quietly and watch the whole thing. Of course we will probably do his smash cake white to avoid a total and utter mess. lol.. Well, I know it will be messy, but at least that way it won't stain anything. But it's exciting!
