Rolling Rolling Rolling...

So I'm totally exhausted from selling my boutique stuff today but I had to post this little update.. My sweet little bug rolled over for the first time today at 4 months old! I knew she was getting close.. she has been trying to for weeks but gets stuck on her side. Normally she would get mad until I put her back on her back.. But today she rolled from back to tummy all on her own! Of course I didn't have the video camera with me at the time, but I hope to catch her doing it again soon.

Happy 4th of July everyone!

Hey guys!

I know I know.. I'm the worst blogger ever..  Instead of telling you the excuses, I'll just say I'm back and ready to commit to blogging again. I have to say, I've missed it. I just realized Savy is 4 months old and I have not blogged any of her milestones.. Bad Bad Mommy! But I promise to be better. If you'd like there is a subscription box to the right if you would like to get an email when I make a new post. Also if you have your own blogger account you can follow me.

Anyways, at 4 months old she is starting coo and talks back when you talk to her. I absolutely adore having long conversations with her. Though I wonder if it will get her in trouble at school? hmm... She has been smiling for a while now, but I just know she is so close to her first laugh I can feel it. She thinks the world of her big brother and he is so in love with his baby sister.

I get asked a lot how he has adjusted with a new sibling. To be honest he has been amazing. I've always heard about the older sibling getting jealous or acting out. I am proud to say I have not experienced it. He loves playing with her and holding her. She snorts when she gets mad and he thinks it's hilarious.

I know this all may change when she starts crawling and gets in to his stuff. But right now I am just enjoying the moment where I don't have to yell, "Kids stop fighting!"

What a BIG boy!

For those of you that know us, you know we have co-slept pretty much since Caeden was born. We didn't plan on it, but since I was nursing every 2 or so hours, it just seemed easier. Well I had planned on getting him in his own bed once I weaned him, but then life got busy. I found out I was pregnant again and we moved. Now that we are FINALLY adjusted in our new home, I told Caeden's pediatrician we were ready to have our bed back. Especially considering we only have about 2 more months until Savannah's arrival. She suggested we move his toddler bed into our room for a week or so, then have him sleep in his own room.

We were so surprised how well he has adjusted. Kids are so smart. The whole day we hyped him up and told him what a big boy he was so he would get to sleep in his big boy bed. When it got to be bedtime, he didn't fuss at all, he grabbed his monkey he sleeps with everynight, got in his bed and we tucked him in. He went right to sleep.

We haven't moved his bed out of our room yet, so we'll see how that goes, but I am just so proud of him yet it's sad too cause he is growing up way too fast.

Here he is, all ready to go "Night-Night".

Savannah's Nursery

So we are pretty much done with Savannah's Nursery. FINALLY! I thought we would never get it done. I just lack a few wall hangings and it will be finished. Milton did pretty much all of it, with his dad's help. It turned out exactly how I imagined it would be. I didn't want anything too baby-ish for the fact that I would have to change it later. It a room for how every girl should be, very feminine, yet classy.

I knew if I ever had a girl her furniture would be all white. It matched our theme quite well I think.
